Total Disappointment in Madonna
I started at 8pm, but the show didn't begin until 11pm, despite what the ticket stated. Martin Solveig, the DJ, played tunes until the concert started, which wasn't what I expected. Sitting through a DJ's set was not why I paid so much for the ticket. The warm-up act was underwhelming. The party songs that followed were meant to keep the crowd engaged, but they quickly grew tiresome. When Madonna finally appeared, the crowd was excited. The stage production, dancers, and sound were the highlights of the concert. Despite my anticipation for her older hits, Madonna mostly performed new songs. The songs from the 80s were played during wardrobe changes but not sung. Despite hoping for a better experience, the concert fell short. It was disappointing not to see Madonna in her prime.
